Deborah Lang Froggatt
Library Media Specialist
Debbie Froggatt, began her library career 25 years ago at the medical library of the Calumet Hospital in Laurium, MI. During her tenure as library director of the public library in Sherman, CT, she decided to combine her love of youth programming and libraries to work towards school library certification. Most recently Ms. Froggatt worked as director of five elementary school libraries in Danvers, MA. Her recent work at Endicott College has provided her with the understanding of how to prepare BAA students for succeeding in higher education. After receiving a B.A. in History from Miami University (Ohio) Ms. Froggatt went on to Princeton Theological Seminary where she received her teaching certification and a Masters in Christian Education. In 1993, she completed her Masters in Library Science and since that time has worked schools in
Connecticut and Massachusetts. She has served as a trustee of her local public library, sat on her children’s school district’s technology committee, presided as treasurer and vice-president of the Northeast MA Regional Library System, and facilitated numerous professional development workshops on information literacy including presenting at the MA Teachers Association Summer Conference.
