Deborah Lang Froggatt
Library Media Specialist
Ms. Froggatt begins her third year as Director of the BAA/Fenway Library/Boston Symphony Orchestra Education Resource Center. She began her career the medical librarian of the Calumet Hospital in Laurium, MI. During her tenure as library director of the public library in Sherman, CT, she decided to combine her love of youth programming and libraries achieving school library certification. Most recently Ms. Froggatt worked as director of five elementary school libraries in Danvers, MA. Her recent work at Endicott College has provided her with the understanding of how to prepare BAA students for succeeding in higher education.
Currently she serves on the Boston Regional Library System’s Advisory Board and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners Public Relations Committer. Her education includes a B.A. in History from Miami University (Ohio), a Masters in Christian Education from Princeton Theological, and Masters in Library Science from Southern CT State University. This September, Ms Froggatt will begin doctoral studies at Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science.
